Now that I have been laid off again, the second time in two years, that depressed feeling has begun creeping over me. I have some cash stored up and I'm hopeful that this rotten economy will turn around, but not soon enough. The wife is working but I don't want to burden her with my anxiety.
I hope all who are in similar situations will get good news soon. No one enjoys loafing around and collecting unemployment compensation when they could be an active part of the at-work community. There is anxiety about dropping out and losing self-worth.
I plan to keep searching, continue my exercise regularly, study my field to lean new initiatives and pray for a swift turnaround.
